Nice photos well in focus which is hard for fish because of the tendency for auto focus to pick the surface or the substrate.

Depending on local conditions browns are less heat tolerant than rainbow trout but both can get by with water temperatures of 18-20 degrees and sometimes a bit higher for short periods of time. They wont like a hot dry summer but can rebound quickly (or are stocked) when conditions improve.

Thank you both. My understanding is that it is unusual to have trout here as the water warms, with the warmer weather?
